Tuesday, October 7th, 2008As an assassin I think that many would agree that more than anything the shadows are our armor (hide/stealth) now regardless of any intended realism stealth is a bit weak. The argument could has, and will be made again that all classes suffer from the daylight when it comes to stealth.

Tuesday, October 7th, 2008 I have called a GM on an issue i need resolved that i have lost half my savings in gold. I have been waiting 3hours at the time of this post. I love AoC but in my opinion this is poor customer service. why do i pay a monthly fee to play if the one time since launch i need help i get no response and yet my fees to play this game are removed right on time every time. Monday, September 22nd, 2008 I rarely post and could careless about game patches however, when a level 77 player provokes 5 level 80 guards and the player is immune to the damage of the NPC guards then you have a problem with the town guard system. Keep this crap up and you will follow the path of Shadowbane.

Monday, September 22nd, 2008thread is pretty self explanitory! After this latest patch it\’s apparent that these guys have no idea what they are doing, and I\’d like to cancel. I go to my account page to log in; and what\’s this? Apparently the password that I\’ve memorized is wrong! So, I log into my game account, it works.
I log into the website, it doesn\’t let me in! Woo. Maybe I\’m overlooking something?

Monday, September 22nd, 2008The game has bugged out again. This time it just hung. I guess it\’s a new version of the out of memory bug. You would think 4Gb would be enough. And, I restarted the game because I had zoned and map was grayed out. It ran for about 3 mins before hanging.
I just don\’t know why I should pay money to debug this game unless these basic issues are getting fixed and improvements are actually happening.

Monday, September 22nd, 2008I am going to quit reading this forum. This forum just makes me sad all the time. Reading about bugs, broken game, broken quest, broken everything. Funcom needs to fix these things and we all know. But i think just the constant QQing on this forum makes other players depressed about the game.
I know funcom isnt doing a good job on updates and i wish they will in the future. Anyways, in the mean time im going to quit reading this forum because it just makes me not want to play aoc...

Monday, September 22nd, 2008 Since the patch i havent been able to get into combat without crashing immediatley, combos immediatley fade out when i activate them. I can explore but i cant fight, what the hell happened? I missed a raid last night and i still cant play today. I\’ve run the verification procedure 10 times and it hasnt helped. Look i cant wait to see this game take off but wth! Honestly! Fix it! For god sakes! arrrrr

Here is my idea for better Quality Control of patches. With all due respect to the staff. Of which I have always and will continue to support.
We need 2-3 people per class. Class reps.
They review changes. And give a status of Green, Yellow or Red.
This might slow the patching down a bit but will add the polish required to keep AoC a high quality product.

Monday, September 22nd, 2008i don\’t know about the rest of you out there but i for one really appreciate funcom taking the time to explain to us their resoning behind changes and fixes. they don\’t have to, no one is forcing them because it\’s their game, but to better their relationship with their customers they\’re taking the time out of their day to explain why they fixed character collision issues and why they fixed mount speeds etc. they\’re doing an amazing job at fixing this game ...
